The one decision worth explaining
It renders worse than your result probably will.
If this showed you a better version of yourself than a real session could deliver, it would have manufactured your disappointment on purpose. So it under-promises in the image itself. That's a choice, not a limitation apologised for afterwards.
These three are the founder's own head: his photograph before anything was booked, the render this tool made from that exact photograph, and what his first session actually gave under a harsh overhead bulb, not stock photography and not a testimonial dressed up as evidence. It is one man's outcome, which says something about how conservative the render is and nothing about what your skin will do.
Who pays for this
No artist or clinic pays us. Not here, not anywhere in this business, ever.
A clinic's photo has to sell you something. This one doesn't have to. You're not asked to take that on faith. It's why the render is allowed to be unflattering.

What winning actually sounds like

A: No, and that's intentional. It renders conservatively so it can't set you up to expect more than a real session delivers.
Nobody knows how SMP looks in ten years. So how honest can a preview be?
A: Correct, and we're not pretending otherwise. You worked this out yourself, and you're right:

A preview shows a plausible near-term look. It can't tell you how your skin holds pigment in a decade, and nothing here claims it can. Nobody knows that, including us.
Are you trying to sell me something?
A: Not SMP, and not a booking. We aren't paid whether you use this, whether you book anywhere, or who you book with. If we were, this render would have a reason to flatter you.
There is a paid document further down the line, for men who want to write a specification before they sit in the chair. It isn't part of this, and this page doesn't need you to want it.
What happens to my selfie?
A: It generates your render and nothing else. Not sold, not shared with any artist or clinic, not used to sell you anything later. Your result email includes a private link that deletes the stored selfie and generated files.
Is this built by a clinic?
A: No. One person, one session into his own SMP, taking no money from any artist or clinic on this or anything else.
I already shave daily. Does SMP change that?
A: The biggest disclosed cost of SMP is shaving forever, and you already pay it. That part isn't news.
The real caveat, rarely volunteered: SMP may change which shaver works for you. Some men find a very close shaver leaves nothing for the ink to blend into. There's no good answer to that in circulation anywhere, and saying so is more honest than staying quiet.
